Bike to Work Group Commute is back | Host or join a Bike Month even
Mark your calendars: Bike Month is back from May 30 to June 30! We’ll be kicking things off with Ride A Bike Day on May 30, featuring the return of the popular Bike to Work Group Commute to City Hall. With the launch of Bike Month just a few weeks away, we wanted to share some top tips on how you can start planning and get the most out of your experience in 2022:
Ride A Bike Day and the Bike to Work Group Commute
Kicking off the 2022 edition of Bike Month, Ride A Bike Day on May 30 invites new, learning, and experienced riders to celebrate the joys and possibilities of cycling – from commuting to work or school, to running errands, to minding your health – riding a bike is a healthy, sustainable, and FUN way to get around.
As part of Ride A Bike Day, we’re excited to announce the return of the Bike to Work Group Commute in partnership with the City of Toronto. This free guided group ride will take riders from three official meet-up points to Nathan Phillips Square for a post-ride celebration featuring a small market of local vendors and the proclamation of Bike Month 2022.

Start time: 7:00-7:45AM (varies depending on start point)
Arrival at Nathan Phillips Square: ~8:00AM

Host or Join an Event
The most important Bike Month event is always the one you attend or the one you host. That’s why our Bike Month Event Calendar is back to help you find the right event for you or to share your bike friendly event with the community. A Bike Month event can be just about anything, as long as it involves bikes! In the past, people have hosted bike rides, festivals, film nights, workshops, seminars, and get-togethers. So, head over to BikeMonth.ca and share your event for everyone to enjoy!
