2022 Huntingwood Day
Toronto East Cyclists is hosting a ride to highlight the need for safe cycling commuting options and raise awareness of existing bike lanes and trails in north Scarborough.
Cycle Toronto will be supporting the ride with a StreetSmartsTO* Bike Safety Station. We'll be there to provide free safety checks, chain lubes, tire pumps, and other quick fixes while we teach you how to up your maintenance skills.
Activities include:
- Kid-friendly: Bike Decoration & Bike-themed arts and craft activities
- Pick up information about cycling & routes in the City and Scarborough
Location: Northside of Huntingwood, between Birchmount Road and Warden Ave (exact location)
Schedule: Saturday, August 20
- 10AM: Meet and greet, visit info tents and Cycle Torono's Bike Safety Station
- 11AM: Begin bike tour on Huntingwood Drive bike lanes (approx. 30)
- 12PM: Begin bike tour on North Scarborough Green Loop (approx 1 hour)
- 1PM: Finish ride
