I am fundraising and cycling the Big Ride in memory of my friend Peter Maione (pictured with me) who was an avid cyclist. He was an advocate for the cycle tracks on Bloor Street and Danforth Avenue, the completion of the Pan Am Path and the Meadoway. Peter passed away at the young age of 42. I hope I can count on you! Donations up to a total of $500 will be matched by me.
I'm riding to raise awareness about climate, health, and road safety - and the transformative potential of eliminating barriers that keep more people from riding more often.
Supporting my ride on the Big Toronto Bike Ride will help Cycle Toronto continue advocating for a safer city for all people, especially those vulnerable while biking. This year’s contributions will play a crucial role in support our Move365 campaign efforts to bring bike lanes to all four boroughs of Toronto, support our education and encouragement efforts, and help make the ActiveTO expansions permanent. Donate now and you'll support the fight for safe streets and a healthy city for all. I hope I can count on you!
