I'm riding to raise awareness about climate, health, and road safety. Building safe city streets brings with it an economic and community vibrancy (if you don't believe me - check out the Danforth!). By making city streets safer for cyclists and pedestrians by eliminating dangerous barriers will get more people discovering the joy of riding more often, and in turn it will reduce the number of cars on the road, which will contribute to reducing our green house gas emissions, which in turn will help reduce the negative impact of climate change...
Supporting my ride for safe streets will help Cycle Toronto continue advocating for building a safer city for all people, especially vulnerable road users (elderly, children, pedestrians and cyclists). This year’s contributions will help Cycle Toronto make the ActiveTO expansions permanent and increase bike infrastructure in the suburbs. Donate now and you'll support the building of safer streets for a healthier city for all. I hope I can count on you!
If you can't afford to contribute to my campaign, please join me for a ride! :-)
